- The
“Gifts of the Heart” Raffle organized by the
Finance Committee generated P1,236,714.95 in net profit.
The Draw was held during the Get Together Dinner.
- Vestida,
a fashion show featuring showbiz celebrities Richard and Lucy Gomez, Mandy
Ochoa as well as Scholastican alumnae, family and friends raised P213,561.40
for the Teachers Dev’t. Program and the General Fund.

300,000.00 was raised for Education Committee’s scholarship
program:
1 scholar for Education at West Negros College
1 HS Scholar at SSA
- Education
Committee worked on raising funds for Holy Family Vocational HS
to sustain its operations:
P 100,000 donated by an anonymous alumna
P 200,000 from Class ’79 jubilarians
- Give A Life Project grants
received:
* US $3,309.50 from a US-based foundation to support immunization
projects
- Give
a Life Project achievements: At least 2,517 beneficiaries

* 1,259 schoolchildren immunized vs. measles
* 650 children immunized with DPT vaccine
* 206 children immunized with HIB vaccine vs meningitis
* 402 eye screening for Grade 6 students
* Seminars on Breast Cancer awareness and Violence vs Women and Children
- Save a Life Project grants

* US $13,018.85 from a USA-based foundation for repairs and
purchase of medical equipments for the pediatric ICU of CL Montelibano Mem.

* US $11,690.50 for indigent pediatric patients in charity
hospitals
- Aloha Medical Mission
beneficiaries: 4,625 beneficiaries served
* 1,828 pediatric consultations
* 2,332 adult consultations
* 224 minor surgeries
* 113 ophthalmologic surgeries
* 17 OB-Gyne surgeries

- Health
Committee raised P 1,683,762.75 for the Committee’s various
projects
- Training
and Development Committee conducted training programs for a fee to
raise funds:
* P 35,377.00 was raised from cooking demonstrations
* P 153,565.00 was raised from two football clinics.
A 3rd clinic is on-going.
- Livelihood
skills training for indigents conducted:
*Reflexology Training in coordination with Sugar Industry
Foundation, Inc.
* Hair Cutting and Make-over Seminar with Kabulig Foundation
- Sports/Youth
Skills training conducted:
Soccer Clinics to Public School Students
* Provided trainers and coaches in Andres Bonifacio Elementary School every
Saturday for 29 students
* Provided the school with soccer equipment
* Organized Football Festivals
* Initiating same program in Emilia Garcia Elementary School for 25 students

and Dev’t Committee sponsored the Seniors’ Retreat of the Holy
Family Vocational High School
